Stephen Curry is only be the second-best Akron native in the NBA, but he’s already the best shooter in the game, maybe ever. He’s the current record holder for most threes in a regular season, and he trails only Steve Kerr in career 3p%. While shooting is his most distinctive skill, Curry is well-rounded as a scorer, a guard, and an NBA player in general. After a scorching end to the season and a virtuoso playoff debut, don’t expect Curry to be overlooked as an All-Star or All-NBA if his ankles hold up.
