Dwyane Wade shot absurdly well in Philly, hitting 14 of 18 shots from the field. Typically, when Wade dominates he becomes the mayor of the midrange, and this night was no different. It’s maddening how much more effective he is just one step in front of the arc. Wade has a variety of moves when he’s denied the rim, including the floater, jump hook, stepback and pump fake. As a power guard, Wade initiates contact so he’s prepared for it. Nick Young’s length should have theoretically bothered Wade, but he was overmatched against Wade’s physicality and strength.
