Brooklyn is the most “win-now” team in the league. The Nets are in quite a unique situation; their championship window just opened after trading for Garnett and Pierce, yet it’s closing fast because of their age. Unique doesn’t begin to describe Brooklyn’s head coaching situation. There really isn’t much time for Coach Kidd to go through a learning curve so he is going to have to rely heavily on Assistant Coach Lawrence Frank to help him along in his first year.  And now there’s suddenly a lot of veterans on the roster and minutes will have to be carefully managed during the grind of the regular season. No one really has any idea how quickly Kidd can adapt to the x’s and o’s and player management in his first year coaching in any capacity.
