Predicting Top 10 NBA Scorers Of 2013-14

In the end it was Carmelo Anthony who prevented Kevin Durant from winning his fourth consecutive scoring title. Melo went on a rampage to finish out the regular season, while Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder took a more cautious approach and eventually gave up on the scoring title, hoping to bring home some significantly more valuable hardware.

But will Durant be back at the top of the scoring list by the end of next season? At this point, it’s hard to tell, but we can certainly speculate. We are used to seeing the same names up at the top of everyone’s favorite stat category, but things change.

This offseason, several teams made changes to their rosters. Some contending rosters were reinforced, while others were significantly weakened. Depending on which side your team is on, it will either put more pressure on the superstar to perform at a high level, or allow for a slow and healthy regular season.

Then we also have the scenario where a borderline All-Star goes to a bad team and gets to put up as many shots as he wants, which naturally gives a nice boost to your stats.

Here are some predictions on how the top 10 scoring list could look by the end of the 2013-14 regular season.
