#16. Washington Wizards

2012-2013: 29-53

Head Coach: Randy Wittman

Signed: Trevor Ariza, Bradley Beal, Trevor Booker, Nene Hilario, Eric Maynor, Emeka Okafor, Otto Porter Jr., Glen Rice Jr., Kevin Seraphin, Chris Singleton, Garrett Temple, Jan Vesely, John Wall, Martell Webster

Rationale: The Wizards were the fifth best defensive team in the NBA last season and the 30th best offensively (there are only 30 teams.) The Wizards are built like a playoff team, but they’ll need to stay healthy to get there. More John Wall and Bradley Beal, who missed a combined 59 games in 2012-2013, is literally the recipe for that offense improving by the ten or so spots necessary to secure a lower seed.
