#18. New Orleans Pelicans
2012-2013: 27-55
Head Coach: Monty Williams
Signed: Al-Farouq Aminu, Ryan Anderson, Anthony Davis, Tyreke Evans, Eric Gordon, Jrue Holiday, Darius Miller, Austin Rivers, Brian Roberts, Jason Smith, Greg Stiemsma
Rationale: Tyreke Evans, Jrue Holiday and Eric Gordon are all best with the ball in their respective hands. Austin Rivers’ start to last season prompted some to ask if he was having the worst season ever. On the other hand, Anthony Davis had a good rookie season and Ryan Anderson is still an effective floor-spacer. The Pelicans have the talent to be good, but probably not the cohesion yet. If they can avoid digging too deep a hole, the Pelicans have a chance to surge towards the end of the season.
