Indiana Pacers shopping Gerald Green, pick

"In addition to the Pacers’ Jimmer discussions, sources say Indiana has made the No. 23 pick available in hopes that an interested party would be willing to take on the contract of Gerald Green for the right to acquire Indy’s pick. (via ESPN)"

Green still has two years and $7 million left on his deal, and Tyler Hansbrough is a restricted free agent. If the Pacers could ship Green out of town without taking salary back in return, they would create some space to potentially lure attractive free agents, maybe someone like Kyle Korver or JJ Redick. David West will probably be re-signed and Paul George will soon need to be signed to a max extension, so getting rid of Green would do Indiana a lot of good and allow the team to perhaps land some competent shooters in free agency.
