Klay Thompson
Guard. 6-7. Golden State Warriors. Experience: 2 years.
Without the world at large really realizing it, Klay Thompson has quietly mutated into a defensive stopper. Well, not quite, but his length and improved foot work and, dare I say it, will has blasted away some early criticisms that Thompson is strictly a one-way player. A six-seven shooting guard with one of the best shooting strokes in the game suddenly infused with the confidence of a first round upset and an expanded role in the offense? Klay can pass, shoot, defend, and sometimes even make lay-ups! With a Warrior offense that exploded by packing the floor with perimeter threats, Klay is practically guaranteed a huge year, provided he learns to put together two monster games in a row from time to time.
