Kevin Durant is one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history.
Durant may not have won the scoring title this year but he did become the youngest player in history to join the 50-40-90 club, shooting 51 percent from the field, 41.6 percent from three-point range, and a free throw percentage of 90.5.
Last season, “The Durantula” led all players in the Finals with 30.6 points per game but the Thunder proved to be no match for LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
This postseason, Oklahoma City was in prime position to go back to the Finals but when Russell Westbrook tore his meniscus, the team’s chances went up in smoke.
No one is guaranteed a trip to the Finals but Durant and the Thunder figure to have a few more cracks at taking his name off this list.
