Phoenix Suns

Phoenix is a complete mess.

Their roster includes a lot of aging/not very good veterans being overpaid for the foreseeable future (looking at you Michael Beasley). They have a solid point guard in Goran Dragic, who just keeps chugging along at his Goran Dragic speed. They have quality role players in Jared Dudley and Luis Scola, but the organization has ticked off possibly their best player in Marcin Gortat in more ways than one. There’s no question he is going to want out of there in the near future.

Goran Dragic — arguably their best player who isn’t extremely mad at the organization — even creates problems for the Suns. Their first round draft pick, Kendall Marshall has shown signs of competence in recent weeks. Markieff and Marcus Morris will probably have long careers as decent bench players, but that won’t do much to stray a franchise from despair.

To be honest, where Phoenix really needs to improve in the off-season is decision-making. They won’t have much in terms of space to sign free agents because most of their players on the team this year are guaranteed contracts next season.
