2003 NBA Draft

Pick 29 overall: Josh Howard

Josh Howard has been trying to find his way back in the league, but caught another tough break this season. In the last three years he has torn his ACL twice. He did so earlier this season and was waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Howard has openly admitted to smoking marijuana in the offseason, which might have contributed to him slipping down this low in the draft. Regardless, in his prime Howard still put up decent numbers and slipped into the All-Star game in 2007, when he averaged 18.9 points and 6.8 rebounds for the Dallas Mavericks.
