2010 NBA Draft

Wesley Johnson – 4th Overall

Wesley Johnson is just another poor draft pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was drafted ahead of guys like DeMarcus Cousins, Greg Monroe and Paul George, all of whom are great players.

It took just two seasons for the Timberwolves to give up on their lottery pick, as they shipped him to the Phoenix Suns. He has had a couple of nice performances lately, but is averaging 7 points and 2.3 rebounds this season.

Johnson will become a free agent after this season, as the Suns did not extend his contract. It will be interesting to see where he lands this summer.
