Washington Wizards 90 – 95 Cleveland Cavaliers

Kyrie Irving is most likely out for the season, but that didn’t stop the Cavaliers from beating the Wizards at home.

Washington came out hot, starting the game 11-0 in just two minutes of play. Following the slow start, Cleveland head coach Byron Scott benched every starter except for Shaun Livingston.

The Cavs battled back in the second quarter, took over the lead in the third and then held off the Wizards. Tristan Thompson scored 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the winning team, while Dion Waiters added 20 points of his own.

John Wall had a huge game, scoring 27 points, dishing out 14 assists and pulling down seven rebounds, but his effort was not enough.
