1996 – In a 109-89 Utah Jazz victory over the Houston Rockets on Friday, March 8, 1996, Jerry Sloan won his 500th career regular season game. John Stockton led the way with 25 points on 11-of-12 shooting as well as a game-high 15 assists. Although that Jazz team lost in seven games in the 1996 Western Conference Finals, Utah would get to the NBA Finals in both 1997 and 1998.
