Philadelphia 76ers Receive:

In trading for Noel, an elite defender and rebounder with the potential to be a versatile scorer, the Cavaliers will have to give the 76ers a fair return.

However, that package likely won’t include Kevin Love.

The 76ers are looking for scoring on the wing and could ask for a young prospect like Jordan McRae, who can light up the scoreboard. In the Las Vegas Summer League, McRae showed a James Harden-like skill set and the ability to perform under pressure.

The 76ers know what McRae can do, after he broke a NBA D-League record with 61 points for their D-League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers.

McRae alone likely wouldn’t entice the 76ers. A player like Iman Shumpert, a defensive ace at all three backcourt positions, could enhance the trade package. The 76ers, ever-looking for young talent, will have two young wings to join Simmons and Embiid, but could ask for a draft pick as well.
