LeBron James and Head Coach Tyronn Lue are making these easier on each other.

It’s pretty simple really, and that’s why it so beautiful.

LeBron James has had one thing holding him back throughout his career, and that’s that he’s had to think too much. By creating a system fit for the players, Tyronn Lue has reduced the amount of isolation basketball being played by James.

Due to his coaching, the Cleveland Cavaliers are also executing well and committing less turnovers. The ball moves freely, guys cut to the paint and there are always capable three-point shooters on the floor and space because of them.

On defense, just stick with your man and switch properly. It’s pretty simple really, and that’s why it so beautiful.

They thrive in transition on offense and in the paint because of LeBron’s basketball acumen and tendency to cherry-pick instead of rebound these days. Which isn’t a bad idea, to get points and let superb rebounders in Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson, to rebound.

They don’t allow many transition points on defense because LeBron often is the first one back after a miss or Thompson or Love get the offensive rebound. Really, it’s so beautiful because it’s so simple.

So formidable because it’s so well-executed, turnover-free, and free-flowing.

The consistent and often explosive shooting performances of his teammates, who thrive in this system as well, allow LeBron to trust his team and focus on an all-around game on both sides of the ball.

His teammates, who have to play faster, and run particular plays set up by Kyrie Irving or LeBronin half court, do less unnecessary thinking of how to score in these situations. Trusting LeBron to make the right decision from the post is still the best option but using Love in the post or Irving off the dribble has worked as well.

What Coach Lue is doing is giving LeBron better options. It is the same thing General Manager David Griffin and owner Dan Gilbert are doing by enhancing the personnel LeBron has been playing with over his career

LeBron still is LeBron, he is the head of the snake, and at times the Cavs still have the tendency to look lost for direction on the right play or call without him.

He’s their leader but he has allowed Lue to become their commander.

More from King James Gospel

The Cavaliers lack of success without James isn’t as pronounced lately, because the Cavs have rarely played from behind. The bench has also been making their threes, an integral piece of the Cavs high-octane offense.

But Kyrie and Kevin have to continue to learn how to be better playmakers in order for the Cavaliers to be better.

The cerebral “Video Game” James is still arguably more valuable than any player in the league despite his age because of his talents are irreplaceable. After all, the Heat have replaced LeBron’s talents with those of Justice Winslow, Luol Deng, Joe Johnson, and Goran Dragic and despite better health from Wade these four talents together only were a third seed. This is after missing making the playoffs completely immediately after LeBron’s departure.

LeBron James is good for Tyronn Lue. Tyronn Lue is good for LeBron James. Together, they have made a lot of beautiful music.

Are you surprised by how well Lue and LeBron have paired together?
