10 Crazy, Amazing LeBron James Stats from the NBA Finals

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers may have lost the 2015 NBA Finals, but the King provided us with a number of memorable moments. It was a historic series for the best player in the world who made the Finals his personal playground for some truly incredible performances.

The following is a list of some of the crazy and amazing stats James achieved while trying to win he first championship in Cavs history. Even though he fell two wins short of his goal, James still came up with some incredible achievements and some that were quite bizarre.

1. Some of LeBron’s greatest games in the Finals have come when his teammates struggled with their shooting. It happened again in Game 2 when the Cavs shot very poorly.

2. After Game 3, LeBron scored the most points of any player through the first three games of the NBA Finals.

3. According to Elias, LeBron’s Game 3 performance is the first ever 40-point, 12-rebound, 8-assist, 4-steal NBA Finals game since steals were first recorded in 1973-74.

4. In Game 5, LeBron (40 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists) joined Jerry West (42-13-12) as the only players to record 40+ point triple-doubles in the Finals.

5. Also in Game 5, LeBron had accounted for 70 (scored or assisted) of the Cavs’ 91 points or 77% of their total.

6. Through the six games of the 2015 NBA Finals, LeBron scored or assisted on 58 points per game for the Cavaliers which is an NBA Finals record.

7. Has three 30-point Triple-Doubles in the NBA Finals. The rest of the NBA has three total since 1955.
