1. San Antonio Spurs (51-16)
Like a jacked-up thief, the Spurs are a team you don’t want to meet late at night in a dark alley. Or in the playoffs. You know what’s coming and you can’t do anything to stop them.
2. Los Angeles Clippers (48-21)
Eleven straight wins ended by Denver. Defensively still not up to much – Doc Rivers was supposed to help, right? – but offensively this team is capable of running up the score every night. Danny Granger has slotted right in too.
