1. Indiana Pacers (Change from last week: No Change)

They may still struggle to score from time to time if teams can throw the right combination of defenders at Paul George and Roy Hibbert. David West can only do so much, Lance Stephenson is still prone to some strange decision-making and George Hill is not a truly threatening scorer.

But, if that’s the extent of their issues, they’ll take it. They sit at 12-1 this season and now their only in-division threat has lost their best player for a large chunk (if not all) of the season.

Offensive Rating; 101.8, Defensive Rating: 91.2

2. San Antonio Spurs (No Change)

The Spurs’ win over the Cavaliers was so comprehensive that ‘beatdown’ seems inadequate. A 65-32 halftime lead grew again at the start of the third quarter as the Spurs offense went to town on a weak Cavaliers defense.

The mark of how great the Spurs are is reflected in their standing across the NBA world. They are this highly regarded despite having only two wins against teams with winning records all season (Golden State, Memphis).
