As part of our King James Gospel top 10 rankings, we now bring you the list of the best centers in the NBA.

Being a good center involves doing a lot of the dirty work for the benefit of your team. You have to rebound, box out, score in the post and be an intimidating presence on the defensive end. Most centers ín the league have very different skill sets. Some are viewed as finesse players, who are able to score in a lot of different ways, but rarely take on the challenge of being physical against their opponents. Others are the good old get-down-dirty type of centers, who will do anything to help their team win.

Here are a couple of players who just missed out on the list, but deserve a mention: Larry Sanders, Roy Hibbert, Anderson Varejao (due to injury), Andrew Bynum (due to injury).
