Boston Celtics’ Ambition to Trade Rajon Rondo is Utter Stupidity

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: 4 Comments

Chris ‘my sources are telling me’ Broussard, amongst others, have reported and confirmed that Celtics GM Danny Ainge is looking to shake things up and are openly shopping star point guard Rajon Rondo. Earlier in the week it has been revealed the Celtics offered Rondo and former Thunder player Jeff Green for OKC’s Russell Westbrook and former Boston favourite Kendrick Perkins. Perkins and Green were the center pieces of a trade between the two last season, a move that created a lot of controversy within the locker room of the Celtics, but that is not the most interesting component of [...]

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul To Provide 800 Meals for Charity

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

The NBA’s newest and most likeable foursome will be making as big a commotion off the court as they will on it on Tuesday in New York City. James, Wade, Anthony and Paul are the chief organisers of the final All Star exhibition game to take place in the city that never sleeps, but before they take their talents to centre stage, the four will lead the way in the campaign; Feed the Children and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. 800 meals will be provided to struggling families in the area, adding to the affiliation between the NBA [...]

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul Cancel Tour

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

The new foursome that emerged from the lockout have confirmed the cancellation or their anticipated ‘Homecoming’ tour that was to take place in four cities around the country. James, Wade, Anthony and Paul have been as inseparable as Burt and Ernie since the beginning of the lockout, continuously attending meetings, exhibitions and recreational activities together. My personal favourite was the superstars taking their respective children (I think all had a son named after themselves, but hey why not) to a Nickolodeon event in LA. It produced a genuine Kodak moment. Nonetheless they announced the tour would not be going ahead [...]

NBA Lockout Over

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Queue the angels and enjoy their chants of Hallelujah FINAAAAAAAAALLY………THE NBA HAS COME BACK TO THE U..S..A I hope you all understood the Dwyane Johnson/The Rock reference. Whilst David Stern has moved to ensure he saves face should the deal fall through by describing the agreement as ‘tentative’, I, and many millions of fans and players choose to celebrate this moment. We have been close to agreements before but never have we been this close. Stern confirmed he has a handshake agreement with Billy Hunter and the Player’s Association over a deal that will see the 66 game NBA season [...]

Lamar Odom To Play in Turkey, America Celebrates Losing One Kardashian

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: 4 Comments

I do not even live in the United States of America, yet the saturation this family gets even here down under is beyond ridiculous. I am unaware how any of them are famous, other than Kim’s sex tape (no comment) and their now deceased? father was the infamous attorney of OJ Simpson. Nonetheless they have like 4 TV shows that basically have their own channel, and having attempted to sit down and watch an episode with my two sisters who for some reason watch it religiously, each time I try I do not last any longer than a couple of [...]

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, NBA Superstars to Play Barack Obama Classic

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Barack Obama’s pull with African American celebrities, particularly athletes, particularly NBA players, has never been questioned, rather has posted a lighter side to the President’s reign as the leader of the ‘free world’. Upon his first birthday in the White House, Obama organised a game of basketball on the President’s court, inviting over 10 of the world’s greatest basketball players. LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, you name it, they were all there. Now it seems the NBA players are trying to give a little something back to the first African American President in the nations history, someone that has [...]

LeBron James Discusses Liverpool Success, Admiration for Steven Gerrard, Kenny Dalglish

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

LeBron James recently spoke of his newest business venture, a small ownership stake in England’s most successful football (soccer) team, Liverpool FC, and his growing fandom for the great club. James attended his first ever Liverpool game about 2 months ago, timing it perfectly to coincide with the notorious visit of Manchester United to Liverpool’s famous Anfield stadium. James was constantly tweeting during his attendance at the historical rivalry showdown, clearly in awe of the passion the English have towards their unrivalled no.1 code. He spoke of his Twitter admissions: “That came from the simple fact of how passionate and [...]

Maurice Jones Drew Draws Criticism Following LeBron James Celebration Against Cleveland Browns

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Maurice Jones Drew, MJD, Mojo, whatever you want to call him, is one of the premier running backs in the NFL. It’s a shame he plays for one of the worst teams in the NFL. His numbers of recent years have coincided with the team’s failures, dropping below what people expect of him and what he himself expects of his own performances. Nonetheless he is still finding a way to draw everyone’s attention. Recently in Jacksonville’s trip to Cleveland to play the Browns, MJD found himself in the end zone and proceeded, as ever, to celebrate the touchdown. The celebration [...]

Jon Gruden Wants LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Rajon Rondo, Other NBA Superstars to Join the NFL

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Jon Gruden is by far my favourite American commentator/analyst/whatever you want to call him. He’s extremely knowledgable, he’s extremely funny and he has an extremely good television voice. Every time he says “this guy” (which is about three times each sentence) referring to how good a player is, it never ceases to cheer me up, regardless of how bad my Seahawks are playing, nor how good the Patriots are playing. I was watching the fourth quarter of the Pats Chiefs game yesterday and towards the end of the blowout fourth quarter, Gruden proceeded into a tangent into great athletes in [...]

LeBron James Again Discusses The Decision

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

LeBron James was interviewed by one of England’s premier newspapers, The Guardian, during his most recent visit to America’s strongest ally, and given the British are not necessarily up to date with James in the media circles, the common questions of his NBA Finals failure and The Decision found their way into the discussion. We’ll give the poms a break, mostly because they have a funny accent and have no sun all year round, so we feel bad for the poor guys. Nonetheless James was more than willing to discuss these issues that have plagued his last 15 months and [...]
