84. . Forward. Sacramento Kings. Keegan Murray. 4. player

The Sacramento Kings have declared that they are building around De’Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell: that’s why they traded Tyrese Haliburton for Domantas Sabonis at the trade deadline. It also means this front office is going to be skittish about adding another guard and playing this game all over again.

Enter Keegan Murray, whose do-it-all skillset should pair nicely with the high-usage Sabonis and Fox. He can be the offensive engine on the second unit with Mitchell and not give up anything on the other end. The rim protection for Murray and Sabonis will be tricky, but perhaps Murray can grow as a weakside shot blocker with time.

Jaden Ivey. 5. player. 64. . Guard. Detroit Pistons

If the Kings don’t trade down and don’t get crazy by taking another point guard, the Detroit Pistons could be the beneficiaries and see point guard Jaden Ivey drop to them at No. 5. The Pistons have an offensive centerpiece in Cade Cunningham, but his crafty game lacks athleticism and burst.

Enter Ivey, who is probably the fastest player in this draft and will excel in a spaced-out lineup, which the Pistons could put together with Kelly Olynyk at the 5. He has some warts but his high-end outcomes are too impressive to let him slide past the Pistons.
