Korver can still star in his role

Korver hasn’t seen much playing time so far this year. He spent most of the first four games on the bench in favor of younger guys like Sam Dekker and Rodney Hood. Korver was reinserted into the rotation after the 0-3 start and has shown that he still has a lot to offer.

He provided a spark in the fourth quarter as he exploded for 16 points. The attention that he draws off-ball opened up the offense in the half-court for seemingly the first time this season, which allowed the Cavs to get back into the game.

A game like this shows that Korver still has a lot to offer on the offensive end of the floor. He is still one of the best shooters in the league and can still spark a lifeless offense at a moment’s notice. Korver still requires considerable off-ball attention and can wreak havoc for a defense without the ball in his hands, which opens up the floor for everyone, especially Collin Sexton.
