No. 23: Ersan Ilyasova

Ersan Ilyasova is certainly in the last third of his career and should be looking for a team to take him to the promise land. Cleveland can be that team. Last season, Ilyasova ended the season with the Philadelphia 76ers.

During his ten-year career, he’s yet to make a permanent trip out West, meaning that Ilyasova’s teams have been devasted either by or before meeting LeBron James. If you can’t beat them, join them, right?

Alongside Love, Ilyasova could act just like Channing Frye did a few years ago. He’s  dynamite waiting on the bench. At his peak, he averaged 13.0 points per game and 8.8 rebounds per game. Per 36 minutes, Ilyasova scored 16.2 points last season.

He’s a sharpshooting forward that wouldn’t command too much money. If the Cavs can get another developed playmaker, then Ilyasova could prove to be the signing of the summer in Cleveland.

However, that’s a big if.
