No. 24: Michael Beasley

Last season, Michael Beasley made $2.1 million from the New York Knicks. Throughout his entire career, Beasley’s contracts have not defined the level that he plays at.

For his last three seasons, Beasley has averaged over 20 points per 36 minutes. On top of that, he’s shot the ball over 50% from the field. Even furthermore, Beasley can stretch the court, offering a perfect, non-traditional power forward for LeBron James. He’s shot 39.9% from deep in his last three seasons combined.

At 6-foot-9, Beasley can play the three and the four while Love plays the four or five. There really isn’t much not to like about Beasley’s game, yet somehow he’s never managed to find a permanent NBA home.

Cleveland, just like it is for many veterans, could be his saving place. Behind James, Beasley could bring much-needed playmaking to a team void of playmaking options.
