The Cleveland Cavaliers will be joined by the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals after the C’s finished the Philadelphia 76ers in five games.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will be in the Eastern Conference Finals for the fourth straight season. After a clean four-game sweep of the Raptors, James and company will take on a young and hungry Celtics team that also have arguably the league’s best head coach.

The Cavaliers played the Celtics three times throughout the regular season, winning two of the matchups.

However, those matchups all featured Kyrie Irving. Also, at that point, the Celtics hidden gem, Terry Rozier, had yet to become the scoring phenom that he has proven to be this postseason. That said, both teams have transformed tremendously since those regular season matchups.

Although the Celtics are a skilled and well-coached team, the C’s and the rest of the Eastern Conference still haven’t proven they can take down Lebron James. James has been the King of the East for eight straight seasons, and even when his team is struggling, James finds a way to get it done.

Both the on-court play and off-court adjustments will give us several things to look forward to. Now, let’s get into three things that fans and analysts should look forward to as the tip between these two teams is just a few days away.
