Option #2: The Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are probably the most obvious choice to be the star’s next home. With the Cavaliers interest in George, a swap for the two players with Cleveland chipping in a bit more would be an ideal scenario for Indiana.

While George has made it clear that he wants to go to Los Angeles in free agency, the Cavaliers might still give up Love, Shumpert, Osman, and more just for the chance to beat the Golden State Warriors and convince George to re-sign. George’s acquisition is key for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

But, just how good of a fit would Love be in Indiana? He would be able to stretch the floor alongside Myles Turner. Love could return to his dominant self just like he was before joining the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In his last year leading the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kevin Love averaged 26.1 points per game, which is more than both Paul George and Jimmy Butler averaged last season, and 12.5 rebounds per game. While that team did finish the season a sad 40-42, Love flourished on the court.

He could potentially bring back that same production to Indiana.
