Option #1: The Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets could be an ideal team for Kevin Love to be traded to. There are a couple things that make the Nuggets a fantastic third team in the Cleveland trade.

More from King James Gospel

For starters, they have the cap space to handle any trade. Secondly, they have enough young assets they can deal to Indiana/Chicago in order to make a trade for one of their superstars worth it. Players like Emmanuel Mudiay and Wilson Chandler both had rumors swirling around them this past season. Thirdly, they have the cap space to handle Kevin Love’s contract without much consequence. With so many rookie contracts, the Nuggets struggled to reach the salary floor last season, something Cleveland blew right through. Along with future picks, Denver would make a perfect trading partner.

Also, Love would seemingly work perfectly with their future superstar Nikola Jokic. The pass-first big could finally have a star target to pass it to. A trade sending Love to Denver could make the Nuggets perennial playoffs contenders, a position the Mile High has not been in for quite some time.

While no rumors have mentioned Denver, if the Cavaliers future GM wants to get a deal done, they might want to talk to Mr. Connelly, the President of Basketball Operations, in Denver.
