1964 – Happy 49^th birthday to retired NBA point guard Mark Price, who played 12 seasons in the NBA. His 90.4% career free throw percentage is the best in basketball history. In addition, he was a four-time All-Star selection and won the Three-Point Shootout twice.

1991 – After the Miami Heat defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 105-103, at Miami Arena just six days prior, the Cavaliers crushed the Heat, 148-80, at the Coliseum in Richfield, Ohio. That remains the largest margin of victory (68 points) in NBA history. The Cavs outscored the Heat 75-27 in the second half and 42-13 in the fourth quarter. Mark Price played only 17 minutes and led the Cavaliers with 18 points and 11 assists. Steve Kerr (@SteveKerrTNT) came off the Cleveland bench to score five points as well as record three assists and two steals.
