The Chicago Bulls decided to trade Kyle Korver to the Atlanta Hawks last offseason, but as he is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent this summer, the sharpshooter has not closed the door on a potential return to the Bulls.

When Derrick Rose went down in last year’s playoffs, the Bulls decided to revamp the roster, breaking up what had become the most feared bench in the NBA. The team wanted to save money and sent their best 3-point shooter in Korver to the Hawks.

According to RealGM, Korver will definitely consider coming back to the Bulls next season, if the team reaches out to him:

“Totally, I would,” Korver told RealGM on Saturday night. “That’s a great organization, that’s an awesome jersey to put on. Great fans, good team. You only get to be a free agent so many times in a career, so I’ll definitely see what’s all there. But I would absolutely listen to what they’ve got to say.”

Korver was a great fit in Chicago, providing the team with great floor spacing, something that the team lacks this year. No one knows whether Rose will be coming back this season, but the Bulls will most certainly be back in title contention next year, and Korver’s presence would add to the team’s versatility.
