The draft lottery has finally concluded. Dan Gilbert made the right decision in letting his son, Nick Gilbert, represent the Cleveland Cavaliers at the lottery. For the second time in the last three years, the Cavaliers have landed the top overall pick. In 2011, Cavs used their top pick to draft Kyrie Irving, who has since become one of the better point guards in the NBA. Orlando Magic had the worst record and the highest chance to land the top pick, but will instead select second.

Here is the picking order for the first round of the 2013 NBA draft, including the lottery picks.

In case you missed it, SI compiled their Fortunate 50 list of the highest-earning American athletes last week. Within those 50, we can naturally find quite a few NBA players.

The list contains the athletes’ total estimated income based on salary, endorsements, bonuses and pretty much every other type of income. The earnings are based on last year’s season. Due to the lockout-shortened NBA season, all players lost a percentage of their total salaries, which is why only 13 NBA players have made the list.

Continue reading to find out where each NBA player ranked on the list and how much they made.
