The Decision: To Stay or Not to Stay
Tonight is the night that fans of Cleveland, New York, New Jersey, Chicago and Miami have all been waiting for: the night that LeBron James makes possibly the biggest decision of his life. A decision that can change the NBA for decades and a decision that could prove to be the beginning of the end of a beloved sports franchise. Since his junior year in high school, LeBron James has had the weight of the world on his shoulders. He was named The Chosen One and was expected to be the reincarnation of Michael Jordan. A living legend. A man [...]
Sprite and the NBA Seeking Amateur Dunkers in Cleveland
An email just came across my desk from Mr. George Fiddler from Fast Horse Incorporated that I thought may be of interest to some of you loyal readers here at KingJamesGospel.com. Sprite and the NBA are stopping by Cleveland this Saturday (May 29th) for a competition to find the city’s best amateur dunker. The winner will receive $1,000 and the chance to win $10,000 in the Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown judged by LeBron James over All-Star Weekend. To get a sense of the types of dunks that might be on display, here is a link to last year’s final that [...]

Cavs Top Jazz in Final Seconds
LeBron James has done it again, this time against the Utah Jazz. James completed a 3-point play with 28 seconds left in the game to put the Cavaliers up 103-101. The Cavaliers switched up the starting line up for a change as Mo Williams came off the bench and Shaquille O’Neal was out with a strained shoulder. Cleveland had plenty of offensive production as LeBron James, Mo Williams, and J.J. Hickson all scored 20+ points. Hickson surpassed his previous career high in points with 20 points Saturday. Hickson’s previous mark came against the Miami Heat on Thursday as he tallied [...]

Cavs Win as West Returns
He’s back. Delonte West received a standing ovation as he made his first appearance of the season last night as the Cavaliers beat the Charlotte Bobcats 90-79. West played 24 minutes off the bench and tallied up 13 points, 2 assists, and a steal as he was a main ingredient to the Cavaliers success last night. Last night’s performance by Delonte West was a subtle reminder to Cavs fans of just how important he is to the Cavaliers and their on-court success. As for LeBron James, no reminder was needed. I’ve said it 20 times and I’ll say it again, [...]
Cavs Crush T’wolves for First Win
Last night LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers traveled to Minnesota as they picked up their first win of the season by crushing the Timberwolves 104-87. The Cavaliers win against Minnesota avoids them from starting 0-3 for the first time since 2004. James finished with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists even though LeBron failed to score in the last 17 1/2 minutes of the game. But thanks to good contribution from his teammates, LeBron didn’t really have to score. A solid effort from Mo Williams (20 pts), Zydrunas Ilgauskas (15 pts), Daniel Gibson (14 pts), and Anderson Varejao [...]
