Nine days.   Just nine more days before July 1st – otherwise known as the day that LeBron James may be openly recruited by every NBA team on the planet without facing $100,000 fines from the league.  The scary thing is that James has yet to even hint toward which team he is going to choose this offseason.  Does he stay in Cleveland?  Or does he go to New York, Chicago, or pretty much anywhere that he so chooses to go?  That remains to be seen. The dreams of 60 young men came true on Thursday night when the NBA held it’s annual NBA Draft. Like every other NBA draft, teams were scrutinized and praised for the picks they made or didn’t make. How did the Cavaliers fare in the 2009 NBA Draft? Going into the offseason the Cavs were looking to acquire veteran players for the 2009 campaign and younger inexpeirenced players for the future. The Cavs reached and to be honest drafted someone I know very little about. Christian Eyenga from the Congo is still very underdeveloped and will likely stay oversees. This could be a possible trading piece for the Cavs if they desire to move him. I still think this is a reach for a team that needs shooting now not later. He could be a great project, but this team doesn’t need projects right now.
