The Cleveland Cavaliers’ point guard, Kyrie Irving, wants out, and here are the trades that the Cavaliers should consider for their superstar.

According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, Kyrie Irving wants out of Cleveland. This news apparently both disappointed and shocked King James, who has been the renown leader for the Cleveland Cavaliers over the past three seasons.

The rumors have it that Kyrie wants out of Cleveland because he wants to take the reigns of a team. Irving might also be afraid that he will get stuck with this Cavaliers’ team if LeBron decides to leave Cleveland following this upcoming season.

Later that day, Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Irving’s preferred destination is the San Antonio Spurs. The Heat, Knicks, and Wolves round out the other teams that Irving wouldn’t mind being traded to. With that said, the Cavaliers could probably care less where Irving wants to go. Irving’s situation is far different than fellow star Carmelo Anthony. Anthony can basically choose where he wants to go, but Irving, since he has does not have a no-trade clause, can be dealt with the top bidder.

Kobe once also requested a trade. After not being traded, he went on continue his dominant career, reaching three more NBA Finals. This could be a similar situation. Irving might end up staying in Cleveland and continuing his stellar legacy there.

But, as for now, we know he wants out, so let’s check out some trades that the Cavaliers might make for him.
