After a long layoff, we’re finally here. The NBA Finals are upon us. The Golden State Warriors host the Cleveland Cavaliers in game one of the NBA Finals at 9PM ET on ABC.

Here are five keys to game one.

1. Long layoff: both teams

Both the Cavaliers and Warriors have gotten their rest heading into the series, but there’s a chance that getting this much rest is a bad thing. Golden State and Cleveland have been dominant in each playoff series, so they should be used to the long layoffs between series.

Both teams have won their first game in each series, so it seems like the layoff might not affect them. The Warriors looked sluggish in the first game of the Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs until Kawhi Leonard injured his ankle, but were able to pull off the incredible comeback.

Only time will tell if either team is rusty due to the long layoff.
