What are the best possible trades for the Cleveland Cavaliers accept in a trade for Kevin Love? Here are a few of my favorites.

Kevin Love, who will be out for six weeks as he deals with a knee injury, is a player that has had his name in the trade winds since his final year in Minnesota.

Love, who is averaging 20.0 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, has been playing his best all-around basketball of his career and has been so good he dropped 34 points on the Portland Trail Blazers in a single quarter. Quite simply put, Love is on fire.

With that said, Love is on a unique team in that this year and the ones after it are all ones where the Cavs are expected to play in the NBA Finals. Every mistake is magnified and Love hasn’t made many of those himself this season. However, it’s a mistake to keep Love on a team that doesn’t consider him a playmaker. A team that can’t play him like an All-Star against the best team in the league, the Golden State Warriors.

Love might even be better on a different team and a different system. A team with more rim-protection and that will be more intent on getting him the ball.
