The Cleveland Cavaliers not only lead the East as a team, but their stars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving won the East’s All-Star voting by a landslide.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently 30-11 and three games above the second place Raptors. They were able to get to this point due to the incredible play by both Kyrie Irving and LeBron James.

LeBron James ended the All-Star voting with almost 1.9 million fan votes, 1,893,751 to be exact. Kyrie Irving was not far behind him with almost 1.7 million fan votes. He had exactly 92,306 more than Giannis who was third in the East in voting.

While Kyrie and LeBron may not be the East’s best players- even though LeBron is- it is a testament to the Cavaliers fan base. This fan base is just incredible, but their skill was still the main reason for this.

Kyrie and LeBron both won the player voting also. Kyrie came in third in the media voting for the East while LeBron was once again the king of that. James completely sweep the field while Kyrie wasn’t far behind. This is the type of hype that the Cavaliers need, and it nicely shows the support of both the fans and the players

James has averaged 25.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game this season, and he has shot an incredible 51.5% from the field. It is complete malarkey that James is not in the MVP conversation with stats like that. Kyrie’s 23.7 points per game coupled with his 5.7 assists were also able to claim him a starting spot on the team.
