The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered a difficult loss to their nemesis, the Golden State Warriors, but let’s remember that this is just a regular season game.

The Cleveland Cavaliers looked to completely give in after the first quarter in Monday’s game against the Warriors. They ended up losing this game by 35 as they dropped to 29-11 but still 2.0 games above Toronto in the East.

This game saw many difficult situations for the Cavaliers. They ended this game giving up 15 3s, and 10 of those were to Klay and Steph. Couple their excellent shooting with their 37 fast break points, and it is obvious how this game quickly got out of hand.

The Warriors dominated just about every aspect of this game. They had 24 more rebounds, and they shot over 15% better from the field. This team just overpowered the Cavaliers who saw the big 3 shoot just 13-33. Some of these numbers are just not possible if the Cavs ever want to beat this incredible super team.

Communication was a build deal in this game. As you can see in the video below, both defenders went to Curry which freed up the lethal Klay Thompson.

Shumpert and Irving have played together for too long for situations like this to occur. The Cavaliers were already down 19 at this point, but it is more the concept than the importance. The Cavaliers seemed to just drift through this game. Fans need to keep their calm. This Cavaliers team is still one that beat the Warriors on Christmas Day.

It is still the same core that came back from a 3-1 deficit, and it is still the same core that ended the 52 year sports drought in Cleveland. This team has resilience, and it will be obvious when these two teams next meet in the NBA Finals.
