The Cleveland Cavaliers finally won an NBA Finals game after five tries with a thrilling 95-93 win over the Golden State Warriors. After the 2007 sweep against the San Antonio Spurs and the Game 1 loss to the Warriors, the Cavs were knocking on the door of a loss again after the Warriors erased an 11-point 4th quarter lead that sent the game to overtime. But the wine and gold were not to be denied as they notched their first Finals win in franchise history.

Still, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers could have easily been up 2-0 instead of 1-1 as they have controlled the series’ tempo so far. ESPN’s J.A. Adande pointed out that during these first two games, the Warriors have only led by a grand total of 26 minutes and 51 seconds. To keep this in perspective, the two games total 106 minutes after both went into overtime. Before going back to Cleveland for Game 3, let’s check out the stats and see how the Cavs Vs Warriors Game 2 went to the visitors from Ohio.
