When LeBron James signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer, everything in Ohio got a little bit better. The housing market in downtown Cleveland skyrocketed, the state was no longer a sports laughingstock and even the college football team in Columbus got a little bit of a boost.
Urban Meyer noted that the return of LeBron James was going to help recruiting but one thing LeBron’s return couldn’t help was the health of Heisman hopeful quarterback Braxton Miller.
Just a few days ago, Miller underwent surgery to repair the injury, performed by the talented Dr. James Andrews. Everything with the procedure went fine, and James wanted to make sure that everyone knew it.
On his Instagram account, James posted a photo of Miller following the surgery, with a nice little message attached.
Excited and Happy my lil bro @braxtonmiller92 surgery went great! Thanks to the best Dr. Andrews! You’ll be better than ever. Have a speedy and full recovery bro. See you soon! #GoBucks #OH #IO
Miller is out for the season now that he had to have surgery again and that’s a real blow to the Ohio State season. But thankfully, everyone is going to be watching the Cavaliers by the time anything relevant can happen with the Buckeyes, and that’s something everyone can be thankful for this year.
