With LeBron James coming back this offseason, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been looking to add to the roster in any way that they can. This has been from veteran signings to making sure current players are locked down in long term deals to straight up acquiring All-Stars on the trade market.
Cleveland may not be done making trades this offseason, as there have been rumors of a deal that could send center Timofey Mozgov from the Denver Nuggets to the Cleveland Cavailers.
But ask Mozgovand he’ll have little to say about the trade as he shot down the idea of leaving Denver for Cleveland in an interview with Boris Khodorovsky of ITAR-TASS.
So far all the talks about trade to Cleveland are just rumors. My last season in Denver was good, and to try and do something to leave the team wouldn’t be smart.
It’s a move that would instantly help the Cavaliers with their center depth issue and add some further depth to the front court. Of course, a trade would need to be made but Mozgov seems to be content in Denver which is going to make prying him away rather hard to do.
