Kevin Love introduced by Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers have finally acquired Kevin Love and after months of dancing around a deal, the All-Star forward was introduced on Tuesday.

It was a glorious occasion to say the least as Love hoisted his first Cavaliers jersey and smiled a smile that said ‘thank the basketball gods I got out of Minnesota alive’. That’s where Love was though Tuesday afternoon, finally away from Minnesota and in a winning situation as he met with the Cleveland media.

Love will now go from playing alongside Kevin Martin and Ricky Rubio to playing alongside LeBron James and Kyrie Irving for the Cavaliers. In addition to that, the Cavs added Mike Miller, James Jones, Shawn Marion and a new coaching staff that is sure to have a fun season in 2014-15.

Of course, Love could get scapegoated if the season doesn’t pan out, but for right now things look like they’re going to be bright and shiny moving forward. The lack of depth at the point and at center still needs to be addressed in the immediate future, but this was Love’s day and it’s a day Cavs fans were dreaming of all summer long.
