The current trend at the moment is the ALS ice bucket challenge, which involves someone dumping a bucket of freezing cold ice water on themselves and then making a donation to ALS research before challenging others directly to the same thing.

LeBron James completed this challenge recently and then called out the most powerful man in the country to do the same thing. Usually when someone does the challenge, the call out friends or a famous person to see if maybe they hear the call to duty, but LeBron is very likely doing both by calling out President Obama to do the ice bucket challenge.

Check out LeBron completing the challenge below:

It seems like it probably wasn’t all that bad to do the challenge for LebRon as he seems to be in a nice and warm place doing it — which is so LeBron.

Calling out the leader of the free world is also a LeBron thing to do as naturally the most powerful player in basketball needs to call out the most powerful man in the country.

There’s a good chance that Obama answers the call too, as the cause is absolutely amazing and the fact that it’s become a trend around the world is absolutely great for ALS research and awareness.
