Anthony Bennett deletes everything Cleveland Cavaliers from social media

The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to be trading former No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett to the Philadelphia 76ers as part of the Kevin Love trade, and the soon-to-be former Cavalier is already moving on from his old team.

A clever Redditor pointed out that Bennett has deleted all traces of the Cleveland Cavaliers from his Twitter, Facebook and social media accounts which is a telltale sign that the former No. 1 overall pick is fully moving on from the Cavaliers in every way.

You can’t really blame Bennett for moving on so quickly, as the Cavaliers are doing the exact same thing to him. After a rough rookie season in which he was labeled one of the worst draft busts in recent memory, Bennett got cut this offseason to improve his game and show dedication — only to be rewarded by being traded to the basketball wasteland of Philadelphia.

It’s unclear if Bennett is going to be anything special in his career, but he’s at least trying and he may be using this trade from the Cavaliers as motivation to get his career jump started and to become the No. 1 pick he was supposed to be.
