LeBron James to make Cavaliers debut vs. New York Knicks

The NBA schedules have been released which means we know when LeBron James is going to be making his second Cleveland Cavaliers debut.

LeBron’s first debut with the Cavaliers came on the road against the Sacramento Kings, but this time around the debut will happen at home in front of what will be a packed and extremely loud Quicken Loans Arena.

LeBron making his debut against the Knicks makes the game all about LeBron and not about anything else, which is the best possible scenario for his return. Had the game been against the Spurs or the Bulls or anyone else from LeBron’s past, then it would be about more than just his return.

But the game will rightfully be all about LeBron returning to the Cavaliers, and that’s the way it should be. Cavaliers fans have been waiting four years for this moment and now that LeBron is back, opening night will be all about the return of the one player that Cavs fans have loved and will love over all others from now until forever.
