The Cleveland Cavaliers got LeBron James back this offseason and as a result, the team is going to be one of the top teams to watch the entire season when it comes to their schedule and where they travel on the road.
But when it comes to where they’ll be opening up the season, we still have no clue where that will be or who it will even be against. According to ESPN, the date, time and place in which LeBron James will have his second debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers is being kept under wraps as no one knows who the Cavaliers opponent will be for the big event.
Due to some last-minute shuffling, sources said, exactly when and where James will launch his second stint as a Cavalier is still being finalized. But sources insist that it will not be in San Antonio, though there was considerable speculation in recent weeks that Cleveland would open the season against the NBA’s reigning champion.
It’s almost a certainty that the game is going to be at home but it’s still unclear if the matchup will feature a rival team or someone else. Either way, the LeBron James debut with the Cavaliers remains unknown, and it’s a situation where the NBA just has to have the game at home or face the wrath of everyone in the NBA.
