The Cleveland Cavaliers are getting better on and off the court this offseason as the roster is getting better with LeBron James back but the coaching staff is also getting better as well.
After hiring first year head coach David Blatt, the Cavaliers are going to be adding former Milwaukee Bucks coach Larry Drew to the staff as the bench continues to get stronger for Blatt’s first year.
According to NBA scribe Gary Washburn from the Boston Globe, the decision for Larry Drew to join David Blatt’s staff in Cleveland has become official.

Blatt and Drew go back a ways, which is great for the team as the relationship between the two is going to be something that instantly makes the coaching staff more of a family, which is what Blatt will need in his first ear as a head coach in the NBA. The more experience the better, and that’s what Drew provides the Cavaliers’ staff.
