Andrew Wiggins still hasn't talked to LeBron James

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been adamant about not including Andrew Wiggins in any Kevin Love trades, but that hasn’t stopped the Wolves from demanding him. Something else it has led to — potentially — is LeBron James and Andrew Wiggins not speaking to one another.

According to the New York Post, the Cavaliers rookie still hasn’t talked to LeBron James since the two came to Cleveland within weeks of one another.

And for those who want to try and develop any conspiracy theories about whether or not Wiggins is likely to remain in Cleveland, he said he still hasn’t spoken to James — who also didn’t mention Wiggins in his letter in Sports Illustrated announcing his return to the Cavaliers.

“No. I’m sure he’s busy,” Wiggins said. “I feel like I’m busy, so I am sure he’s busy.”

Now, it’s hard not to read into this as that’s all people have been doing ever since LeBron forgot to mention Wiggins or Anthony Bennett in his decision letter. But the fact that they still haven’t spoken, not even for the leader of the Cavaliers to just give a rookie some minor peace of mind, is something that clearly shouldn’t be ignored.
