The Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to get Kevin Love over from the Minnesota Timberwolves but things continue to get more and more complicated as the deal continues to hit snag after snag.
It’s starting to look like a third team will be needed to help make a trade happen and that’s where the Philadelphia 76ers are beginning to be mentioned in this big scenario.
According to Sam Amico from Fox Sports Ohio, the Cavaliers may end up getting the Philadelphia 76ers involved in the Kevin Love trade talks and that could see Dion Waiters get shipped out to Philly to help facilitate a trade.
On top of all that, there are league-wide whispers of a third team perhaps getting involved in a potential Cavs-Wolves deal, whispers of the 76ers possessing a strong interest in Cavs guard Dion Waiters, whispers of another major transaction on the way. Yeah. Unreal.
Philly has been hot after Waiters for some time now and may see this as a chance to get a deal done that lands them the guard they covet. They have a crew of young players that could end up being one of the best and most interesting core group of players in NBA history, and adding Waiters to that mix only adds to the potential simmering in Philadelphia at the moment.
