Chicago Bulls frontrunners to acquire Kevin Love over Cavaliers?

The Cleveland Cavaliers have seemingly been dragging their feet on trade offers with the Minnesota Timberwolves when it comes to Kevin Love but the recent trade with the Utah Jazz to clear space and get more assets may have been too little too late.

According to Chris Sheridan from Sheridan Hoops, the trade offer that the Chicago Bulls supposedly submitted to the Minnesota Timberwolves is being viewed as more attractive than that of anything the Cavaliers are offering at the moment.

The source who spoke to SheridanHoops said he believed the Bulls offer was better in the minds of the Wolves than the Cavs’ current offer of Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a No. 1 pick.
There’s some doubt as the validity of the trade offer from the Bulls, as while it’s an amazing deal that makes sense as an offer, it could also be a total smokescreen from the Timberwolves to get Cleveland to give up what Minnesota wants. But if the Bulls offer is legitmate, it’s hard to see Minnesota passing it over as it provides them everything they want in the Love trade and even a little more.
Cleveland still has assets that can trump a Bulls offer, like those two future firsts, but there’s growing drama now that Chicago seems to be willing to be the farm on Love while the Cavs still aren’t.
